RE: how does slothicorn support artists?

I was never actually sure if the @daclawboyz project could come under the Slothicorn banner or not... it's got Steem in it as the objective, and it's played on the Steem blockchain, and I drew everything myself... but... it's not traditional art.... so... no idea...

What do you think?

Sort:

That's a very good question. In way Slothicorn is sort of supporting it still, since my steem delegation that I use to upvote Orks and Zombies comes from there but as far as the main account with the larger delegation goes, let me ask the curators!

Okay so because the same art is used multiple turns, it seems like the curators feel that getting multiple upvotes for multiple rounds wouldn't fit with slothicorn's needs. I feel like if you submitted it once as a resource post with all the art and rules and things you could probably get a one time upvote post potentially. :) That's how it worked with the Shop and Drop RPG

Thanks for this Ciel! That's super nice of you to check for me.

Yeah, Shop and Drop was pretty much one post almost the whole way through, so that's an easy one, and the artwork was fantastic. That totally makes sense about the multiple turns, obviously I'd never expect multiple upvotes, but I just wasn't sure how to even wangle one. I could totally put together a resource post... are there guidelines that I could check to make sure I'm following?

Thanks thanks thanks!

We don't really have too many guidelines because it's a manual curation but give me a head's up when the post is done and I'll guide you if you need any changes. Include the work you did and if you can include some progress shots for the art and some info about your experience developing the game I'm sure we can get an upvote for you. Especially with the dice bots you made!
