I decided to write about tax implications because:
A) i'm a nerd and the topic interests me
B) if i surpass a threshold of success in this community then it could also affect me directly. And;
C) It is super relevant to the STEEMIT community and searching for past posts on the topic revealed the most popular one to be almost a year old and,i think, dangerously incorrect.
