Lets be real....the challenge with losing weight. Just my view
Hello guys, I've been away for awhile but I wanted to think deeply about my next post and here it is. After 5 failed attempts to lose weight I finally realized that the diet and exercise is not what is failing me but my mind. Yes, my mind is "fat."
Let me explain. I remember when I lost the weight before, I was about 16 years old. Back then I focused on my goal weight. I adapted to a new diet and had new eating habits. I bought new clothes 8 sizes too small. I became more outgoing and made lots of new friends. My mind was slim and happy and my life became a reflection of my mind.
I am sharing this because I know there are a lot of people out there trying to lose weight and like me, you've tried almost everything. My message to you is to change the way your mind see you. Change that over sized image of you in you head. In most cases that image is worse than how we actually look. I know many people will take this massage the wrong way. I am not telling anyone to hate how they look now, I am simply saying to stop weighing yourself every morning, stop buying over sized clothes and stop hiding and feeling ashamed. Let us change our thoughts to positive thoughts and focus on our health and fitness goals. Focus on the journey, enjoy the journey and share it!
