I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks

I have been introduced to intermittent fasting and love it! Basically what that means is that I have a 6 hour window for eating (not fast food ) and then I fast for 18 hours per day. Only drinking water.

Back in the 70's and 80's, we only had 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) but now we have 7 meals (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack, bedtime snack). We are constantly eating. No wonder we are all fat! We do not give our bodies a chance to digest the food we are eating. So, this turns to fat and we gain weight. The body has the ability to heal itself. When you fast, you are using the fat deposits in your body for survival mode. Therefore, you lose weight.

I work 4 days a week and that is what I do. On my 3 days off, I continue to fast and burn more fat. This is how I lost 20 pounds. Its so much easier as I do not have to stop and cook a meal, then eat it, then clean up. You do not realize how much time is wasted eating.

Also, by the second day, I have so much energy as I get my energy from my fat. It is not a spike but constant. This allows me to do more things like exercise, go for walks, etc.

This is a whole new life style change for the better for me
