How High Can It Go?
Looking back to when STEEM was released on Poloniex until today has left me with only one question in mind, and that is how high can STEEM go?
Cryptos in general are doing great!
Taking into consideration our neighbours in the crypto-space which technology is far behind the one we use, one can surely see that their price per unit and market capitalization has reached unprecedented highs, so my open question to all of you: How High Can It Go?
Crypto is very unpredictable, you will not know what high you will get, only patient is the key.
I'm no expert, but I do believe that the more interest is generated and the higher the demand grows, the more the sky's the limit :) I like to think of the market capitalization of more mature firms as a benchmark. It just shows how much potential there is in the young and still developing crypto market.
Back peddle a bit on 'the sky's the limit', one limit would be the number of people able to access cryptocurrencies..i.e. perhaps some of the lower societal levels living in technology-poor countries might sit out
Steem in my opinion is still one of the best cryptocurrencies to invest in and I hope it keeps going upwards, despite the tumbles it has had recently.
It all depends on how much wealth the Banksters want to transfer from this dying FIAT system to the next one,which is going to be a Crypto based monetary system for sure!
So expect the Market Cap to be a couple of TRILLION in the not too distant future!!!
Yup, that's the key. How much $$ will come in with when their rigged game starts to crumble.
Might that just be enough for everyone to have a UBI(Universal Basic Income) ala our "friend" Mr Zuckerberg. Is this a "connected dot?"

As minimum it could certainly reach the all-time high in my opinion. However, I do not agree that the next monetary system will be Crypto based.

High... You mean price per Steem, Alexa rank, Market cap or number of visitors per day? I personally think 100 fiat USD per Steem by 2020 (and I tend to be conservative)
Hey I'm in investor but very new to Steem. I love the concept so I bought a couple thousand steam at $.25. Then as the price started to skyrocket I started to research what this was all about ...and wow all I can say is I've been buying every dip I think this thing can go to the moon
I don't believe in predictions...if Mayans were good at predictions, there would still be Mayans...I read this quote somewhere thought I will share here...one thing I'm damn sure about is that steemit is here to stay in the crypto world...more than price I can definitely predict the steemit community user experience is gonna sky rocket to the moon... :)
The more people are involved and have an interest, the higher the price.
The higher the price, the more speculation. The more speculation - the greater the price.
The greater the involvement of large funds - the higher the price.
The more possibilities of payment in any supermarket - the more interest and involvement, and certainly more PRICE.
If any coin appears on a new exchange - its price immediately increases, due to increased involvement of the number of interested people.
In my golos.io account, I wrote an article about the fact that if there is 100% involvement of people, the price of bitcoin can reach a value of $ 6 million.
We divide 135 trillion to 21 million.
But there is information that dollars in the world are more than 135 trillion dollars.
1,200 trillion if divided by 21 million. = 57 millions for 1 bitcoin.
About others... The more involvement, the greater the price.
I don't think there is a limit to how high steemit and cryptocurrencies in general can go. I believe cryptocurrencies is the future, and certainly a social platform with currency built in has come to stay. Steem has the network effect, and there will be higher and higher highs to come. I am convinced everyone buying steem at this time will not regret it in years to come. The growth potential is enormous.

I think since @jerrybanfield started to promote steemit the price has increased but this is just the beginning before the steem rocket will launch to all time high. Keep calm and we will do great things in the coming months and years i believe😊
I think it's not only about steem. Almost all the alt coin value had be increased quite rapidly. So, it's hard to only make a comment on the trend of steem.
