Lakeside Saturday Outing

I ended up going out yesterday evening to see people and soak up the atmosphere that a summer evening and a music festival brought to town.

Me and my sister were sitting at the pier, chatting, drinking and people watching. We saw a really nice boat that was docked being hit by another big boat, though it wasn’t going fast so they maybe didn’t do much damage.

There was a gas station at the pier we were sitting at, and at some point a little boat was approaching it, and the boy driving it kept talking to someone on the pier but we couldn’t hear what. The boy was going back and forth near the pier and we were watching with interest on what he was doing. Then we heard a loud: ”Mom! Come on!”, and everyone burst laughing. The boys mom was very drunk, trying to get people to sing and dance with her and her son was clearly embarrased and annoying with her behavior. It was hilarious.

The evening was surprisingly warm when the sun was still up, and after it started to get chilly, we went back to my place to eat and drink more, before heading our separate ways in the city center.
