Today's Weed News for April 18th 2018 #Washington
For today's weed news we go north-west to the great state of Washington.
Cannabis patients in Washington may soon be able to get there medical marijuana without even leaving their home!
It looks like lawmakers in Washington have pretty much decided that cannabis delivery is the way to go and now the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board is trying to figure out how to best implement a medical marijuana delivery system in the state.
Lawmakers are asking that the Board to study how other MMJ states regulate the home delivery of medical cannabis, what worked best and what didn't, and to submit a recommendation to them by December 1st of this year.
The two main issues that need to be clearly addressed are which payment methods are going to be allowed and also what the best way to verify that those receiving the delivery are actually state registered medical marijuana patients with current medical marijuana cards.
Fortunately, they do not have to look far to find states with successful marijuana delivery programs. Washington's next door neighbor Oregon already has delivery for medical and recreational cannabis users in place and it seems to be working as intended.
Sounds like the north-west is really on the ball and that Washington MMJ patients are going to have even more access to medical cannabis soon!

I believe they have had delivery services in California for quite some time. It really is beneficial for everyone. The consumer gets convenient access to his or her weed. The business has a new source of revenue. Jobs are created. Even the anti-cannabis types have something to like if you frame this thing as a means to keep all those "scary stoners" at home.

Ya, I think weed delivery has been figured out by states all over and (except for the part when a delivery guy gets pulled over and then the law depends on how the cop's day is going), everything seems cool. "scary stoners" haha
