High musings on war brought to you by 4/20

Did you know that the Korean War has not ended? It is still just an armistice. The war began in 1950.

I swear, fucking governments just love the wars and the threat of war to fuck human beings over. The individuals living under those governments do not love war, well, at least not all of them. Some people hate it. Some people die for it. Some people support and cheer on Muh Government. Some people kill for their government. A lot of fucking people profit off of it.

My stance is this. I am against all wars. I am interested in ideas that would foster the environment least likely to have wars materialize.

I think a pretty good base for any set of ideas is that; you, just by being a human being have the right to ultimately exercise control over your body, mind, consciousness, etc. and that no other person, group, or authority can take that right away from you or have any claim of being able to do such.

Then, let's just respect that when we interact with other human beings. A pretty good base for any discussion of ideas for humanity. What do you think? Is there a better base? Is it possible to have a base? Any good resources you would like to share? I love reading books. Any recommendations?
