I never used JOhn at School I was knows as Chips and then wen I joined the army it became JJ which does fit with my first initials, but have only been called that for 40 Years :)

Believe me or not, but at school some called me Fips ;)
My initials are actually JJJR LOL And funny Chips fir me Fips for you quite similar sounding
JJJR? Then JJ fits and sounds good :)
Chips or Fips? I would prefer Chips, because Fips sounds like a pet and I like Chips ;)
How chips came about was due to a mix up with the teachers saying my name wrong so I never really liked it, but JJ works well for me :)
Ok JJ, I don't know where Fips came from ;)
