Snakes are even more sensitive. Way back 1986, the volcano spewed dark smoke way up the sky for about 180 degrees and the smoke was so thick like that of an atomic bomb while we ran outside and watched in silent awe as if waiting for the fire to follow. You could hear the sound of big rocks as if grinding inside the crater. There was rambling again at night and you could see from afar a hundred torches going down the mountain like fireflies. That was my first experience to witness a volcanic eruption. And it was so amazing that the big snakes went down the river first instead of the people living up there. They've felt the danger. It was my unforgetable experience and I hope it won't happen again just like Mount Taal in Tagaytay.
WOw that is so interesting and yes seeing a volcano erupt is such a powerful experienc e
