SECRETS TO MAKING AND KEEPING MONEY - PART 1
MAKING AND KEEPING MONEY IS SIMPLE, BUT IT IS NOT EASY. You don't have to be very smart or very talented, and you don't have to be a workaholic. You simply have to avoid the major errors that almost everyone makes when they try to get and keep wealth.
There are relatively few rich people, because only a few people avoid making the standard mistakes.
I am no exception. At one point in my life I had a very good income, but due to violating each of the following principles over a long period of time, I lost all my money and now have to start over from scratch. As my father once told me when I saw him doing something he had told me not to do, "DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO!"
The easiest thing in the world is to break these rules, which is why I am sitting here unemployed with tiny savings, wishing I had managed to avoid making the following mistakes:
THE TEN BIGGEST MISTAKES WHICH PREVENT WEALTH
1] TRUSTING THE ADVICE OF UNSUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ON WHAT INVESTMENTS TO BUY.
2] NOT DOING WHAT YOU LOVE.
3] NOT BEING WILLING TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES.
4] FALLING FOR SALES PITCHES.
5] THINKING THAT A CONSUMER PURCHASE CAN BE AN INVESTMENT.
6] BUYING ANYTHING WHICH IS PACKAGED AS BEING A FAIL-PROOF INVESTMENT.
7] BELIEVING THAT A MAJOR PURCHASE CAN MAKE YOU PERMANENTLY HAPPY.
8] NOT BEING MORE SUSPICIOUS THE HIGHER PRICED THE PURCHASE IS.
9] ALLOWING HEALTH ADULTS TO LIVE OFF YOUR EARNINGS.
10]NOT PROTECTING YOUR ASSETS FROM PEOPLE WHO WISH TO STEAL THEM FROM YOU.

Dude this is great advice. I know I have broken a few of those myself in my younger years. Not anymore!!!! Great advice. I know you are new and looking for a way to gain some traction so if you don't mind, I'll offer some advice. You need to be posting more. Shoot for 3 a day. Also think of ways your content can help build other content. For example. This post has 10 things in it. What if you wrote a blog about each one? Go into more detail about each one! Also go back and edit this post to include the other two parts by adding links at the bottom. It is a good way to lead someone through your content. In most of my content, I add links at the bottom to take them to other places. I hope that helps, but I really do think that you could do a blog for each one of these. Also at the end of each of your blogs, tell people they can ask you questions and you'll give the best advice possible. One last thing. Add pictures!!!! I hope that helps. You are so welcome. Remember this is still in beta, so in the long run we are all new. Keep that in mind, this is a marathon, not a sprint. You have a lot of great knowledge, just keep posting until you figure out at way that connects.
See what you think of the improvements I have made in the 3 posts, following your suggestions. I learned how to do links and put them in. Then I put in photographs [some of these are acrylic paintings which I do as a hobby]. And I offered to answer questions sent by Steemians. This is the most fun day I have had in a very long time. Much gratitude! Next I will work on separate posts on the 10 items.
