  1. Svartifoss waterfall.jpg
Svartifoss, to reach this waterfall you will need to walk about 30 minutes. Waterfall you can reach from both sides of the river. Best time to visit is early in the morning and late afternoon. Other times if you will visit the half of waterfall will be in sun and other in shadow.
  2. Godafoss... Name tells a lot..jpg
Godafoss is just nearby main road from Myvatn lake to Husavik. It is very easy to access and nice to take photos from both sides of the river. This photo is from left side of the river.
  3. Dettifoss.jpg
Detifoss. This photo was made in 2017 November. There still was not snowing and it was very dark and grey in Iceland. Best photo to make is from right side of the river. However there is viewpoint on left side of river but problem is that all water is going exactly on that platform. From right side is better access and you can reach waterfall just next to the river. Highly recommending this waterfall as this is the most POWERFUL waterfall in Europe.

Dyndjandi Waterfall. 2018 April. I believe this is the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. The Shape of waterfall is unique. It is starting as narrow and at the end it is very wide and amazing The waterfall is very high. Dynjandi (also known as Fjallfoss) is a series of waterfalls located in the Westfjords, Iceland. The waterfalls have a total height of 100 metres (330 ft).[2]

  7. Hraunfossar Watervallen.jpg
Hraunfossar Watervallen. Very interesting shape of this waterfall. it is starting from the sides of the river. There is special viewpoints where you can make photos. The best time to visit Iceland is winter just because there are not a lot of tourists and beautiful winter air and colours will amaze you.

P.S. If you would like to see more waterfalls and know more about Iceland I will make more topics. I have been there 4 times all in total 1 month, so I have stories to tell.

Impressive waterfall pictures.
Is some of this waterfall stop running water in winter?

Yes, Some of them stop running or water is running behind the ice. Iceland is cold country so it is nothing very unusual. If you would like I can post more photos with waterfalls, hot springs or amazing mountain views.

Thank you
Mountain landscape are great to explore. Pictures about it will be wonderful.
Peace
