I've always had such a hard time with watercolor. I work best with charcoal and ink as I'm used to worked from both ends of the value spectrum and meeting in the middle. It's really difficult for me to work from light to dark (as is needed with watercolor). Anyway...

This painting is enchanting. Thank you for sharing your process!

whoa, i never thought about ink and charcoal as the opposite of watercolor before. i actually also enjoy inking, but my style with inks is soooo different than with watercolor and now i guess i know why. thank you :)
