ZkSNACKs has announced the release of an updated version of the wasabi bitcoin wallet with an improved interface and additional features to ensure user privacy.

According to the developers, Wasabi Wallet 2.0 will significantly simplify the task of ensuring user privacy. "Wasabi 2.0 is the next generation of a private bitcoin wallet that will finally make privacy accessible to any bitcoin user, not just the tech-savvy," they say.

The interface will be completely redesigned in Wasabi 2.0. The developers note that mixing coins manually using CoinJoin technology should become a thing of the past or remain available only to users who understand the specifics of the process.

Speaking of mixing, they note that Wasabi 2.0 will support WabiSabi technology for faster and more cost-effective joint transactions without losing resources. ZkSNACKs expects that this solution can be combined with other technologies to achieve a better result.

Wasabi Wallet 2.0 is expected to be released within nine months.
