North Korea Threatens US If Combined Training with South Korea

North Korea (North Korea) threatens against the United States (US), if Uncle Sam held joint military exercises with South Korea (ROK). North Korea said the exercise would jeopardize reconciliation efforts on the Korean peninsula.

A presidential security advisor to South Korea, quoted by Yonhap news agency as saying this week that the US is scheduled to begin joint exercises in early April. This is the latest in a series of exercises that have generally portrayed North Korea as a threat.

On Feb. 23, the United States said it implemented the largest sanctions package to pressure North Korea to halt its nuclear and missile programs. US President Donald Trump warns of a wave of two that can be very unfortunate for the world if the steps do not work.

North Korea accuses Washington of bringing dark clouds to war by staying on top of the Korean peninsula. North Korea claims to be willing to discuss peace issues with the United States, but rejects special requirements.

Meanwhile, South Korea plans to send a special envoy to North Korea in response to an invitation from leader Kim Jong-un. South Korean President Moon Jae-in said the matter to Trump by phone on Thursday.
