Prophecy of Isaiah: Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Isaiah 2:4

Isaiah was one of the most important prophets and clairvoyants in the Bible, and not only that he was also a skilled counselor and politician. His mysterious texts are still interpreted today by many exegetes to understand the events of the modern world.
Isaiah probably witnessed the destruction of the Kingdom of Samaria for his sins, and through his fidelity to the dynasty of David, the prophet allowed the Kingdom of Judah to survive the attempt of the Assyrian empire to destroy Jerusalem.
But beyond this, his prophecies have had a profound impact on Christianity, since he anticipated the arrival of Jesus as Immanuel, and described something that has not yet been fulfilled, the arrival of the end of times.
According to the thought left by Isaiah, the destiny of humanity is to fulfill the plan of God, a plan that, as the prophet Joel also explained in his texts, implies a descent of the divine wisdom among men, the inclination to error brought to the world by the tempter will give way to a new time of universal peace, a time in which men will be brothers among themselves.
Thus Isaiah prophesied the arrival of a new era of light for humanity, which in the texts of the apocalypse coincide with the arrival and descent of the heavenly Jerusalem, the Lord will manifest his sovereignty in his creation by judging and spiritually transforming men:
"He will judge between the nations
and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore" Isaiah 2:4.
The prophecy of Isaiah invites to the spiritual reflection and to discern the meaning of the times because no one knows the day or the hour. But one thing is certain, change will happen, but not before a brief time of destruction and suffering occurs.
