RE: Slaughtering Children for Vague Nothingness and Power
One of the most painful conclusion you reach as a child of war is that in the end you're merely an "office error" that the death of friends and family members is not looked as travesty, that the 500,000 death aren't a disaster and a war crime and isn't remotely worthy of a 9/11 like day of remembrance. We are just a "miscalculation", and then on their T.Vs we are constantly used as a example of the classic "They fought for our freedom" line. As if America, U.K, France, Russia etc... are somehow more free now that kids died in Iraq and Syria and so many places. Somehow These places would have been less free had a child not watch his parents die in front of him and laid down to sleep in his dead mother's arm.
Not justifying terrorism, but if what these governments are doing to us is justified in their eyes then so is what's ISIS is doing to them. Those are the standards of the west that we saw our loved ones die because we didn't follow them.
