Jembatan merupakan kontruksi yang berfungsi sebagai rute transportasi yang membentangi sungai, danau, kali, jalan raya, jalan kereta api dan lain-lain.

Important things to consider in the implementation of Steel Bridge are:

1. Quality and dimensions
2. The strength of the connecting plate should be larger than the main frame.
3. The most end of the plate joint, either the lower or upper base plates, the length must be exceeded, for the purpose of grafting with linking steel when necessary.

Hal penting yang harus diperhatikan pada pelaksanaan Jembatan Rangka Baja yaitu :

1. Mutu dan dimensi
2. Kekuatan pelat penyambung harus lebih besar dari rangka utama.
3. Pelat buhul yang paling ujung, baik pelat buhul bawah maupun atas, panjangnya harus dilebihi, untuk keperluan penyambungan dengan linking steel bila diperlukan.
