Walk with me to get goat weeds! ♥
My family has milk goats! Their milk is delicious! ♥
One of the healthiest things for them to eat, (not to mention, FREE!), is weeds and branches!!
Last weekend, we went to our neighbor's property to cut weeds for our goats. Don't worry, they gave us permission!
Well, my mom and dad mostly did the cutting, I took pictures and played with my brother!
That's my dad, haha!
Some of the things they cut for the goats included oak branches, pine branches, and a few other weeds and trees that I don't know the names of.
Fun fact: pine branches are a natural dewormer for goats!!
We loaded up a whole pickup full and brought it back to the goats! They sure loved it!
I think there's a whole tree in there!!

Great pics! We have meat goats, but the LOVE tree leaves too! And they will eat that pine bark right off the tree!

Fascinating! I want to have goats but am in need of putting up some fencing. I have made some delicious goat's milk cheese in the past and hope to make some from our own goats.......some day!

When I was a child, we used to give our Christmas tree to the goats to eat after we were done with it. We had to make sure we got all the ornaments and tinsel off it first, of course!
We also do this! They love munching up the tree. :D
