Herder's dog family is a group of dogs who get special education in terms of mental coaching to get a steady result.
German Shepherd dogs or very popular herder dogs are either kept as family dogs or as dog workers due to their loyal and talented nature in many fields. Breeding as a farm animal and for herding, the German Shepherd Dog first appeared in 1880, and was first registered officially in 1899. While outside Germany, this breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1908.

Character and Temperament

German Shepherd is a very focused and very intelligent dog. Therefore, they can only develop if they get stimulation or mental training, and with strong leadership they can be trained to be obedient and desire to always learn. Firm exercise is vital to this type. If the dog does not understand if their coach is a group leader, then behavior problems may arise, such as being shy or being aggressive. But, with proper practice, German Shepherd can be a versatile dog and a good temperament.

The Origin of Breeding

Although this dog first appeared in 1882 and 1889, it was not until April 1899 that the German Shepherd breed was first registered by Von Stephanitz. This breed was later given the name of Horan Von Grafrath from the previous named Hector Linksrhein. After Von Stephanitz bought a show dog in 1899, Horan Von Grafrath was made the center of the breeding program, and he formed the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde which is an association for German Shepherd dogs. There is speculation that Horan Von Grafrath.
