Morning, Francis. You are up bright and early for your walk. And a beautiful day it is too! Lots of construction going on in your neighbourhood. It won't be long before your nice open spaces will all be taken up with houses. Water features in a community is a good thing. You must be living on the gulf side of Florida, somewhere near the Tampa/St. Petersberg area...

We live about 80 miles south of Tampa.
Ft Myers is about 35-40 miles away.
It is usually a little warmer here than Tampa.
But, not a lot.
The citrus trees have a better chance of surviving cold weather here.

Citrus trees are a good thing to be growing. I have kumquats, an orange, lemon and lime trees. It so good to be able to go out and pick a fresh lemon for my baked fish...
