I think they are even more cool when you find out they are blooming on a bonsai tree that is in just the smallest amount of soil!!

I thought this one was pretty...
It is an Euphorbia milii, aka the Crown of Thorns plant or Christ plant.
And its prickers are intense!

The bonsai is super cool. I love these miniature beauties. When I see pictures of them, I am always surprised when they zoom back and show me that they are of petite stature.
It is truly amazing that they can grow without hardly any dirt, isn't it?
Nature is truly incredible.

Euphorbia milii, aka the crown of thorns plant.
Beautiful flower photos. Those are some wicked thorns!
A thorny flower, it must be sweet pain to get a touch from it.
My father in-law used to have one of these.
Don't know what happen to it.
