Walk of Hope Update from Bayawan City

in #walkofhope6 years ago

Bayawan City is located Southwest of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental, about two hours drive from the capital. It was evening when @flabbergast-art and I arrived coming from the city so there were not a lot of sightseeing done.

Tatay Dagsa's place, where he is staying, is along the boulevard and just across is the beach. Imagine those boats where the kids were doing their paintings before? They're across Dagsa's and one boat is being built right across our little hut. It's not completely blocking our view but a couple if trees are also infront where a few hammocks can be seen and used freely.

The Dagsa's cafe since renovation have been apparently drawing Bayawan's creatives to hangout and do meetings so when we arrived, a couple of them were present and talking to Tatay Dagsa. I didn't expect to be promoting Steemit right after arriving in town but there you go.

Turn the photo to the left and you will see our hut's door.

There is more to Bayawan than meets the eye. There is no guarantee that I will discover what Bayawan City IS in terms of its' place and importance to the country and to the world, but meeting some of its CREATIVES so soon on arrival, listening to some of their advocacies, having a vegan meal and tasting their homemade coconut juice with kalamansi (small lemon) and hearing of a Swiss student who permanently resides here now studying the OLD Filipino culture...

I am full of excitement with my stay here in Bayawan and with our future plans with @walkofhope. By the way, the organic coconut juice if left alone for 3 months will become the Bayawan's famous Coco Cider. As homemade, it can run out very easily.

I have a lot of photos of the bamboo classrum and am a bit frustrated uploading them. Apologies as my photos are mis-aligned when uploaded, with multiple tries.

Photo is mine, taken with my Samsung Galaxy S7.

Hey hey @walkofhope! No problem. The mis- aligned photos happens to me the same. On the iPhone is the trick , to open - And turn them around in the mis aligned position. safe them / or close. Reopen and turn them how you need it on steemit. — then do the upload ..

Yep here we have.*

On the smartphone it looks good, but here it does not. So turn it on your smartphone exactly like it looks here...into wrong position . ⤴️

Save it. And reopen and turn how it should be.

And then voila after upload , perfect 🔄

My English is not soooo good, hope I could explain what mind is in my head ;-)

**these chilli peppers are in my garden, hope they will get big and red, after I’m back from vacation :-)

Hi! i sort of tried that once bit it was still wrong..unless it should have been to another direction?

Have an iPhone.. but with same issue. Just try, or just try another direction. Here is what I do:

Take your edgewise picture and turn it on your phone (in wrong position, how it would appear on steemit. ⤴️) . - save it. - turn it till it would be good on steemit, - 3x more Times. ⤴️ . If it don’t work agains clockwise , like I do, try it another turn. ↪️ Play a little around, ,.. I know it’s little confusing, but if you find out how - it will be easy for next posts. Or just make pics horizontally:-)

Mate...way easier to upload on postimg😅🤣
