Wagyu Beef Restaurant 2.
So where did Wagyu come from? Well, actually Wa is "Japanese" in Japanese, and Gyu is Japanese for Beef. The process for rearing the cow is very particular and much more involving. This is how the marbling of the meat is possible. A cow is typically allowed to grow for three years before they are ready. This is contrasted with about 15 months for regular beef.
As you can see from the raw Wagyu beef, the marbling is very visible.
