Good piece you've got there. However, I think it all bores down to individuality. We are all being Endowed with reasons and intellect. So we have the right to choose or reject. We determine what will do, how we do it and why it is done. While some would forever be expectant anytime they do you a favor, some may not, as a matter of their nature, eventually remember they've done you any good in Retrospect thereby won't take your appreciation so serious or expect you to return the favor in the long run.
