The Effect of Words in the Natural World

In this passage the Apostle Paul establishes a spiritual truth that applies to salvation, to other matters and other areas of the Christian life.

The confession or declaration of what a person believes confirms his salvation before man, not before God. Because He knows in advance what is in his heart.

The confession confirms the position of the believer before the enemy of his soul. Express a change of loyalties. Previously he had served the devil, but now he is manifesting that he changes his lord.

There are two Greek words as they are; Confirm, thus: "make firm, establish, ensure", and "Validate ratify, grant authority or influence". The Greek word translated as confirmation, defines it as "authorized validity".

In these definitions we say that the confession or verbal statement, affirms, establishes, assures, and grants authorized validity to salvation, in a few words, the confession "places salvation in its place"

Proclaim the decree

In the scriptures we see the proclamation of many decrees as in Esther 8: 8-14, in the old testament and, Luke 2: 1-3, in the new testament.

The written word of God in his formal decree, when a believer proclaims the word with his mouth, with his heart flooded with FAITH, his words full of FAITH become Powerful and establish the order of God in his life, when the Royal Decree, things start to change.

We can choose God's plan

God's plan for our lives was established in the spiritual world before the foundation of the earth, and it is a good plan, as Jeremiah 29:11 states: For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, of Welfare and Peace, not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

The devil has strived to destroy the Lord's plan in most of our lives, and has had a high level of success.

God sent his own son Jesus to redeem us and restore all things in their proper place. He has given us His Will in writing for our lives, and as we believe and confess it, it literally begins to come true. Some people ask and believe that they will receive many things, but they see little evidence of them. Maybe the reason is that they are believing but not confessing that they will. They may see some effects of their faith, but not the radical results they might experience if they put their mouths, as well as their hearts in the service of God (Romans 10: 9-10).

Some seek to obtain the blessings of the Lord by speaking even as the devil. We must not make such an error, we will not see positive results in our daily life if we talk negatively. We must remember that our words come true. We go after the spiritual kingdom and we approach it according to what we are talking about. We can touch the kingdom of santanas with its curses and approach the more and the negative and perverse things, or we can touch the kingdom of God, with its blessings, and get closer to the good and positive.

The decision is ours!

Created and sustained by the word of God

The earth that God created was not made of visible matter. As Genesis chapter 1 says, God spoke and everything began to exist: the light, the heavens, the earth, the vegetation, the planets that give seed and the trees that produce fruit; the sun, the moon and the stars; the fish and the birds; each living species: livestock, reptiles, wild beasts and domestic animals. The earth and everything that exists in it was created from the invisible and it is the invisible that sustains them.

In Hebrews 1:3 God is ... Sustainer, guardian, guide and impeller of the universe by the power of His word ...

The universe that was created by His powerful word is still held by it. We must remember that we were created in His image (Genesis 1: 26-27), and that we are expected to act like Him.

Do what God does ...

In this passage Paul declares that we should imitate God and follow His example. In Romans 4:17 we read that God ... gives life to the dead and speaks of nonexistent things (which He has foretold and promised) as if (already) existed.

As the word of God is His promise to us, we must speak of the things He has promised us as if (already) they existed.

But do it with wisdom

The apostle Paul said that he would join with the people in the places where they were and in the situation in which they found themselves, in order to win them for Christ. Besides, when he asks us to imitate God, he also tells us to imitate him: Imitate me (follow my example) just as I imitate and follow Christ (the Messiah) (1 Corinthians 11: 1). This is especially important when dealing with people who lack spiritual knowledge and understanding.

Let's not forget that we Christians speak a language that very few understand. It would not be convenient to say for example to an unbeliever: "Well, bless the lord, the devil will think that I am sick, but I do not receive the disease, because I have been healed by the wounds of Christ!" This way of speaking shows love or consideration for the person asking, especially if we know that he or she does not understand what we are telling them.

People have used this type of language and although we know many times that they speak, they feel like harsh people in their attitude and manners. They become so obsessed with healing that they are insensitive to the Holy Spirit. They do not stop to consider how their words can affect those who are only showing signs of love and interest for their health.

Even among believers, who do not understand each other, we can act "not being in agreement with the disease but without being harsh.

Many people who believe they act at very high levels of faith do not show any fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23), especially the fruit of love, the most excellent way, of which the apostle Paul tells us that he does not get irritated or do undue nothingness (1 Corinthians 13: 5).

Because faith acts by love, according to Galatians 5:6, it is doubted that by faith it produces some result and that it can receive healing if it is uncompleted with others.

People do not intend to be uncompleted, they have simply lost their balance. They think that if they admit being sick, they are making a negative confession. If they are sick and that fact is obvious to everyone, why deny it?

The truth is that Jesus is our Healer, and truth has more power than facts, as imitators of God we must do what He does: talk about things that are not as if they were (Romans 4:17).

We can do it without offending people who may not understand it, we can "proclaim the decree" in private; then when someone asks us questions, we will surely find a way to respond without people thinking that Christians are rare beings from outer space, whose beliefs are all strange, that is how the apostle Paul understood them.

He meant it when he wrote to the Corinthian church: but the natural, non-spiritual man refuses, accepts, receives or admits in his heart the gifts, teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God because they are madness (meaningless things) ; and is unable to know them and become familiar with them because they must be discerned and appreciated spiritually (1 Corinthians 2:14).

In another passage Paul continues to tell the Colossians: Be wise in your relationships with outsiders (non-Christians) that your words are always of grace (with sympathy) seasoned as with salt that you know how to respond to anyone (Colossians 4: 5-7). 6).

In other words this says that the ancient believers and we "take care of the way they speak to those who are on their spiritual level, be wise and use common sense in this let yourself be guided by the Holy Spirit.
