Our Digitalized-Medical Wish

Hypothetically, if you and I could have a personalized access to our medical history, compiled in a form of digital storage that cannot be accessed by anybody other than us, the medical world would have been a redefined one in the aspect of history cataloging.

In a mercurial world that we live in, MediBloc, has come to convert our dream of a digital medicine into an affirmative reality.

Medicine Meets Blockchain: A Technological Marriage That Births The New Era Of Medical Decentralization

MediBloc, as the name implies, is a medical data-holding platform, that was invented and built on its own blockchain. It was developed on the idea of accumulation and retention of patients' medical history and data-compilation in such a way that only patients have full access to their own medical records and data.

With the invention of MediBloc, patients can share their medical history and record to a third party be it, the doctor or anybody they feel appropriate to share with. This way, there is a trusted confidentiality of patients' medical history that they can access anytime and anywhere they desire.

Blockchain technology, for many years, has been the immediate solution to most technological problems that has plagued the digital world for a long time. The integration of blockchain into medicals, which was the idea of MediBloc, will cause an utmost amelioration in the world of medical record systems.

What The Medical Record Systems Looked Like Before The Invention of
MediBloc

• Due to centralization of all the medical record systems on a lone network, there have been lots of ineffieciencies in patient's care due to strict privacy laws that bind records systems, which sometimes limit even the owner of the medical history. With this, a decentralized platform is needed, that allows for redistribution of patients' medical history for easy and confidential accessibility.

• In recent times, the conversion of medical data and patients' information into digitals havee really faced a backsliding in rating slope because digital record systems have slow implementation. Therefore, a platform is required that passes all tests of time put forward in a world of digitization.

• Data analysis, which is paramount in the development technology and solution has been widely limited due to privacy laws. This has caused restrictions on data accessibility thereby hindering patients to contribute to ongoing researches. For this reason, a notable platform which will uphold privacy and allow users to contribute to critical research is needed.

• Also, less security has been the other offspring birthed by major centralization of the medical record systems. The less decentralized medical record system can suffer hacks and gliches. The major solution to this, which is the introduction of blockchain into this record systems is the major idea of MediBloc. With this, patients' data can be 100% safe and be shared with only their permission likewise.
  

MediBloc; The New World

MediBloc is here to give solutions to the many obstacles facing the medical record systems, majorly, through the creation of their own blockchain. These solutions include;

• MediBloc, founded by Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee, brings forth a development that entails the building of its own blockchain in order to allow for full control of the power of blockchain without limitation. This will tackle the problem of less smooth operations and storage of patients' medical record using networks on the very reliable blockchain offered by MediBloc.

• Account flexibility is guaranteed if MediBloc for any user. With this, users are offered an unending level of control over their medical data. In addition to this advantage, the greater advantage is that, in a case of emergency, family members and next of kin will be able to access these records so as to make available to professionals in need of it.
  Notable Fact: Institutions and entities that require access to medical logs of patients need the permissions of these users, otherwise it is illegal.

• In its quest to re-mapping the health data landscape, MediBloc team has offered an open-source Application Programming Interface (API) and Software Development kit (SDK) that developers can user to bring about new services in the MediBloc platform. With this, developers can design several applications that will major in several aspects like health tracking, insurance to exchange of data.

• In addition to all these, MediBloc helps save us time, money and stress. In a scenario where, as a patient, a test had already been carried out before by a different doctor, but unfortunately, a new doctor needs to carry out the same test, with MediBloc, previous test results can be accessed and shown to the new doctor. A dollar bill has been saved.

MediBloc MainNet- MED and MEDX

The MainNet that will be launched by MediBloc has two tokens which are MED and MEDX. From the onset, MediBloc was supposed to be launched on QTUM (MED), but it was later decided to be built on its own personal blockchain for attainment of optimal business versatility. This made the MediBloc team to drop the MED and MEDX.

''Therefore, at the release of mainnet, holders will get 0.5 MainNet coins per MED and 0.5 MainNet coins per MEDX.

MediBloc Partnerships

In order to increase the reception of this platform when it is fully launched, MediBloc has already established several partnerships.

In this, the MediBloc platform not only focuses on the medical field, but also companies from other industries, be it, insurance, accounting, researching. These other companies have a lot to take home from their partnership with MediBloc because this platform really entails storage of records on a strong blockchain. Records of other companies workers and other medical history can be put on this platform.

• Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital, the third largest dental hospital in Korea.

Partner from the non-medical field includes Deloitte, which is an internationally recognized accounting firm.

Conclusion

With all these exemplary features, MediBloc has shown that the medical record system has taken a new turn and this turn, as we can see, is a better one. So, with this, our hypothetical thinking and dreams of a digitalized record system has come true because MediBloc is here to stay.
Honestly, if MediBloc had arrived five years ago, the world would have buried more Lions than humans. I mean, more lives would have been saved.
