HOW TO TURN YOUR CUSTOMERS INTO YOUR MARKETERS WITHOUT THEM KNOWING IT.

One of the ways to gain exponential growth fast in your business and increase sales is to find a way to turn your customers into marketers without them knowing it.

Till tomorrow WORD OF MOUTH advertisement remains the best form of advertisement. But you need to motivate people to do that for you. Every human being naturally loves appreciations, whether in words or in kinds or whichever way you know. The easiest way to get someone to do more is to appreciate them for the little they did.

So, if you want to turn your customers into marketers look for something you can give to them as a means of appreciating them for recommending their friends and you would just seat back and watch your customers do FREE marketing for you.

But before you can turn your customers into marketers you must make sure you posses the following skills or qualities....

 You must have INTEGRITY: If you are in the service rendering business and you don’t have integrity, you cannot turn your customers into your free marketers. If you promise your customers to come by 10am to get their jobs and by the time they come, stories upon stories would start showing up; no customer would want to recommend you to their friends. This means, you need to always keep to your words. If as a TAILOR, someone gives you clothe and you tell them in two weeks time it will be ready, make sure by that time their jobs are ready.... you can even go the extra mile by getting them ready before the agreed date.

 You must have TOUCH OF EXCELLENCE: You cannot turn your customers into your marketers when you don’t have touch of excellence in your services and customer dealings. You must be good in what you do or sell. You must do something different from the normal ways of doing it in your field. If for example i give you suit to sow for me as TAILOR and you end up sowing COAT for me, no matter the relationship, i would not come back again not to talk of recommending anyone to you. Same also, if you are into repairing, don’t loose any nut you cannot fix back.. Lolz. What are mine saying...master your craft very well.

 Develop good customer relationship with your customers: The mistake most people make in business is to look down on someone. That person you are looking down on may turn out to be your best customer and may even recommend your best repeating customers. So treat every customer as a king and they would in return shower you patronages like kings.

BUSINESS #1: TAILORING:

If you are into tailoring and you want to turn your customers into marketers, you first need to posses those skills or qualities mentioned above. Once that is settled, you can go on to create a reward program for your customers as a motivation to move them into action.

You can create a referral reward program for your customers. You don’t need any website to achieve this. All you need is the customers’ details like full name, phone number, home or office address and email address which you can document in a ledger long note book.

Start PAY FOR 5 AND GET 1 FREE program....

What does that mean?

If for example you are into making of trousers, it means for every 5 trousers you bring or referrals that came through you, you get the 6th one free. Which mean for example, if am your customer and i recommend a friend or some friends who brings 5 trousers for you to make for them, am entitled to bring one material and you make one trouser for me for free. (Note, the customer brings material for the free one, you only make it for free). Let me put it in another way, BRING 6 TROUSERS AND PAY FOR ONLY 5.

Another way is to give discounts...... you can also think of something like GET 20% DISCOUNT FROM 10 JOBS ABOVE....
What does that mean?

If for example your customers knows you charge say #1k to make trousers, you can tell them if you bring 10 trousers, which supposed to be #10k, but because is up to 10pcs, they enjoy 20% discount which mean they will pay #8k and save #2k. You get the gist? if you are good in your craft, your customers would swing into action to network their friends because they know for every 10 jobs they bring to you they would be making from #2k and above.

BUSINESS #2: REPAIRS SERVICES AND SALES:

Here, make sure you posses the qualities and skills mentioned above... once that is established you may look at the following ways to motivate your customers to market for you for free.
You can start something like these;

Here, you would offer free delivery services to your online customers that cannot come physically to pick their items. That is, for those who bought some items from you online, you can offer free delivery to them. This also applies to those selling any kind of products online whether books or any other items.

For those that come to your store physically to buy, you can look for something you can give them as a gift for every order they make. For example, if you are into sales of computer and accessories, you may get 1GB memory cards as free gifts for every order. Just think of something you can give to your customers when they buy.... If you are into boutique business, you may give free stockings for every man shoe sold or even braded t-shirts for huge orders.... if you are selling books, you can get some good cheap books and make it, buy books worth #3k and get any of these books for free. You know your business and how it operates; just think of what you can offer as a gift to your customers each time they buy.
For those doing repairs, do FREE REPAIRES.

Whaaat? You mean I should start rendering free services?

Just relax, I know you are in business to make money and you are not running charity organization. But, you can use free services to draw the crowds.

How do you do this?

Offer FREE REPAIRING SERVICES....but the condition is that you will buy any of the items needed from us. Say for example, my laptop keyboard have issues, I bring it to you, for you to repair it for free means I will have to buy a new keyboard from you. This way, you have increased your sales of accessories and products.

If the problem of my gadgets is not something that requires changing some things in them, you can offer discounts.... say, since it does not involve changing anything, we are offering you 30% discount to fix it. That way, the customer feels you really care about them and they would be glad to do business with you and also recommend their friends.
