Facing our Giants
Life is never a bed of roses no matter how convenient it has been for you. There's been that point in your life when you lost your cool and just felt like what the hell "I don't care anymore".
We all directly or indirectly have an expectation towards life and when for some reasons we do not meet them it forces Us to sometimes go back to the drawing board and have a rethink. At this point some begin to lower their standards, compromise on their principles and start taking short cuts towards achieving the desired goal.
I've met a guy who happens to have now become a friend. At some point in his life he told me and said "I'm really tired and right now I don't care anymore about what happens to me from now on, I'd the world is going to come to an end can it be fast forward so we can get on with it already". This is a guy who is educated and still is Got nothing to show for it. This is a guy who's got all the connections necessary but yet no one want to help even family members.
At some points in our lives we have to square up and face out giants, there's always a huddle before the big break. There's always a Goliath before your coronation. This reminds me of one of my favorite Christians movies "Facing the giants" at the face of die situations and obstacles the coach stood his ground and at the end accomplished what always seemed impossible (summary).
This is not the point to loose your cool, because when life pushes you the hardest is when you should push back your best. Loosing hope is like loosing the very essence of your being, its like cocacola loosing its unique taste. What you so desire might just be one more step away, you wouldn't know how far you've come if you give up now.
Don't lower your standards, don't compromise on your principles, don't take short cuts, keep on keeping on and one day my friend you'll get there.
Just like everyone of us on crypto, these are trying times and the temptation to just quit seems more rewarding than the desire to stay, remember champions are made in the ring. what makes you a champion is how many fights you stood and fought, not run away from. We are here to stay...
