Power of Goal setting

John F. Kennedy, the former U.S. president in 1960 set a goal to send the first man in the moon and he said, they only have ten year to achieve the goal. He choose a committee to the effect. As difficult and impossible the task seems they achieve the goal they set within nine years. They were able to do that because the president set the goal.

Goal setting has produced wonders in our world. Those who know the importance of it have been using it to their own advantages.

The tragedy is not the people don't reach their goal but sadly many people don't have goal to reach. Many ended the year where they started.

The numbers of people today who lack a strong sense of goal setting is astounding.
50% don't pay attention to where their going.
40% undecided and will go in any direction.
10% (only) know what they want and even not all of them set goal to achieve it.

WHAT IS GOAL SETTING?
Goal setting is a vision with a dead line, vision can be ambiguous but goal is specific. Goal setting IAS planning to do a thing and set a time limit for it. One good thing about goal setting nis that even if you don't reach all you set to do at the time you set to do you set, definitely. you will be very close to it.
When the goal is post down the game is over.
Only the players score goals and get prize.
When there is nothing to pursue, there will be nothing to posses.
Great achievers are the great dreamers.
Whatever you desire do not retire.
