National Awards on 29 March

The Jury Board, presented to the Cabinet Committee on National Awards on 29 March for approval of two nominations [Chief and Alternative] for the National Film Award for the year 2016. The Jury Board members confirmed the news.
According to the responsible sources, most of the awards will be given four films - 'Sunnybaji', 'Sankhchil', 'Anagnatnama' and 'Krishnaparthi'. Of the 28 departments, 25 will be given in the category of prizes. None of the singers, comedians and child artistes have been considered worthy. Actor Faruque and actress Babita will receive lifetime honors. All the other sections have alternate names.

The best film on the proposed alternative list is 'Sankhchil', actor Shakib Khan [hunter], actress Kusum Sikder [Shankhichil], Fazlur Rahman Babu [Anonymous] in side male character, SI Tutul [Krishnapati], vocalist James [Sweetheart] Humayun Ahmed [Krishnapati] in the lyrics, Rubayat Hossain [Under Construction] in the story, Anupam Biswas of Screenplay and Gausul Alam Shawon [Mirabaji] Padanaya Sujan Mahmud [under construction], filmed Enamul Haque Sohel, [unknown], the layout Farzana [ayanabaji], mekaapamyana said. Selim [Shankhichil].
Information Secretary Shahin Ara Begum said that the final winner will be officially announced next week. In the first week of May, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will award prizes to the winners.
