My Mind-Blowing First Time Using An Oculus Rift
Last Friday was the I got a chance to use the oculus rift and the experience was simply wonderful.
I played the games:
Super Hot!
The FPS where time moves when you move!

The Lab
A crossbow tower defense game!

Beat Saber
A game where you slash and stab to the beat with light sabers!

The first game I played was beat saber. When I put the goggles on, it was so surreal seeing that you could actually move and that it tracks your body in the space. It was a new experience altogether.
There was a moment when i was playing Super Hot, it was a heated moment where I was getting shot at by the geometric people. I was ducking behind a table to save myself from being hit and I was trying to lean on a table in game and I almost fell over.
Everything was being tracked so well, it felt like I was in the game! As an aspiring software engineer it was really awe-striking realizing someone coded this amazing gear.
In conclusion, it’s definitely something I will have to try again. I’ve now created a new goal for myself to get a oculus rift setup. If you haven’t tried it then you definitely have to do so within your lifetime.
It’ll definitely a blow your mind!
