The current voting situation encourages quick spam posts
I would like to see a vibrant supportive network
but instead it's stale and without a culture of supporting each other. Could we please change that? I make the same money with 4 quick posts about nothing as with hours of talking to people, making new users and advertising. That;s not good. We all need more users to grow the platform if we want long-term success.
As you can see, this post will make 70 cents or so and took me only 5 minutes!
Adjusting the voting algo is difficult. We either have had a situation whereby only a handful of votes are over a dollar. Or what we have now, it seems both ways are open for abuse.
I have thought about this subject long and hard, because what we have now is not perfect.
It's just a fact of life that any system has to account for the potential abusers of that system, and that I believe, is proving to be a massive stopping point.

I have so much experience in talking with the people about it and my expertise is somehow not taken seriously. I know since 1 year what we have to do to get many users. If you want I can say it again but I don't feel like it now. Thanks cryptogee.
I wold love to hear your opinions; unfortunately though I have no sway with how the voting algo works; I wish I did, but I don't :-)

The old ideas when there still was momentum (14 months ago):
-Free money button: solve captcha and receive 2 SBD
-Only real name verification have full voting power (dan's idea how to change the world and compete against government tactics which use hiding
-More support for marketers
Now my new idea: Limit amount of money on each account to an amount which allows to live a good life when powering down. Let;s say 30.000 $
-Same like steemit but only with real name verification
-33 percent of all rewards made by everyone go to charity. Charity team visits physically charity receiver and rents him/her a smallmcafe which will become a steem cafe. That's my idea since a long time. In many countries there's no welfare. I've seen people in poor countries walking around the whole day and nobody helps them. this would spread like wildfire through the media. Finally a oroject which really helps the poor.
Edit: I have no idea about voting and software but I know what sells. Greedy fucks here are the reason nobody wants to join.
