A bride saves her husband after he fell in a volcano on the first day of honeymoon .. The place was empty of people and telephones do not work
A brid rescued her husband's after he falling into a desolate volcano on the first day of her honeymoon while hiking on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean on 18 July 2019.
According to a BBC report, Clay Chastin suffered fractures in the skull. His wife, Akayemi, proved her courage, having clung to the rocks surrounding the volcano, and came down to save him. Chastan sat on his wife's shoulder, in a state of exhaustion and nausea, walking about two miles (3.2 kilometers) to the foot of the mountain.
His wife says she heard a crash sound. "It seemed to me like the sound of a huge rock rolling down the mountain, and when I heard my husband's scream, I rushed down and found his mobile phone and hat before I saw him on the ground and blood bleeding from his head."
Because they were alone and the telephone network was not working, she decided to move him to the foot alone on a three-hour trip.
On his Facebook account, the husband wrote that he was fine and could move his head, but his skull had been hit. Doctors said he had leaking spinal fluid through his nose, but he was not injured in any fractures except in the bones of the skull and in the vertebrae.
He thanked his wife who was strong and helped him.
His wife, who is 157 centimeters tall and weighs 47 kilograms, says"He was leaning heavily on me, he was having difficulty breathing more and was asking a lot more about the distance from the road."
According to the BBC, a fundraising campaign helped raise more than $ 30,000, allowing the couple to charter a medical plane to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
"It is a miracle that he has been able to stand up to himself all this time, despite the injuries he suffered,"
