Wim Hof has been a bridge between body and mind over the years, the bridge we as Human beings have forgotten. We are blinded by the invasion of modern medicine and failed to make a difference between the medical state and mental state concerning a person. Who is Wim Hof ?

Well, Wim Hof is a human being just like you and me. The only difference is none of us have understood Physiology like the way he has. Wim Hof's breathing techniques, his fondness for ice and his self proven methodologies has made him the bridge between Body and Mind. He has numerous Guinness world records to his name and scientists have been researching his methods of healing things. He is an interesting person to follow and here is a small introductory video about him.

What is Wim Hof Method ??

Wim Hof method is going to revolutionise modern medicine, in our daily routine and busy lives we have all forgot that pills are not the only solution to human sufferings. We fail to distinguish between Surviving and Living. We all expect an immediate solution to sufferings, according to Wim Hof by taking pills we are only gonna kill the symptoms but not the suffering. With Emotions being stagnant we are only surviving to pass our lifetime living as machines.

Ice is extreme, it bring you closer to your inner self and according to Wim Hof this is best way to start having self realisation. Ice along with breathing can be very efficient tools to bridge the gap between body and mind to make humans adapt and respond to environment with their full potential.

Wim Hof's Method for Depression and Anxiety!!

Wim Hof method is totally against pills for curing every human suffering. His method is very simple when the suffering reaction takes off we send a signal to the brain, but we are not listening to it emotionally. A mere Psychological therapy isn't enough to cure any kind of mental suffering. A simple breathing technique can increase the oxygen flow to brain and increase the alkalinity of the brain, suddenly the situation that arise out of Depression or Anxiety is being addressed. We as human being can never understand what part of brain stores these chemistry but once we start stimulating brain cells the right way we start addressing the situations.

Fitness is also a great way to balance the chemistry, according to him depression is caused by wrong chemistry inflammation. It mostly deals with pumping oxygen to brain, exercising gives you lots of self realisation breaking all wrong notions you set for yourself.

It is a natural way to stay in control of ourself and handle our moods in the right direction. Nature has its own way to cute these situations, Wim Hof is making a huge progress in connecting all bodily systems to create necessary hormones at the right time.

Woow totally recommended, I am doing his method for a while (2 months) and just at the moment you can see the results! Im having usually 3:30 without breathing.. and yes! this rockin'works! I was thinking to go next year with him a week! Just try people..there is a life in the back that they've been teaching us all life!

Wim Hof method is a steep learning curve if you aren't an athlete or have that drive to consistency but I'm not giving up, (the breathing is good but ice baths are hard motivation beyond monthly soak at 48°.)

Same curve that life! The path is there... And we decide if we get sitted in there. walk, run or swim to the goal. Go on man, whatever you chose just try to enjoy it.. whatever you choose! - :)

As a psychologist I totally agree with this man. But you would need a great deal of motivation preserved in order to partake in that chemistry activation adventure :) Martin Seligman actually gave us similar thing 20 years ago, positive psychology. Great read. followed. I am new here but I will write more articles about mental hygiene and psychology in general so take a look if you will :) Cheers

Haven't heard about Wim before, but the concept does sound realistic. We often forget that we are "natural" human beings before jumping into taking complex medicines based on complex and potentially harmful chemical reactions.
Healthy eating, breathing, meditation, connecting body mind and soul in my opinion are some of the best ways for healthy living

I think this guy is really onto this, if you think about it, human's are in a constant state of consumption - breathing, feeling, thinking, etc. So learning to slow that down could really be profound - when you're not just mindlessly consuming and completely focused on what data your body is taking in and reacting too -mad levels of conscious skill!

Wim Hof is the goal.
