There was only one vacant seat left on the train.
Hoovers work by sucking air out of the tube pointed at the carpet, creating a vacuum which leads dirt to rush in to fill the tube.

Evacuate: Due to the raging war between the tribes, they had no choice but to evacuate the only place they could call home.
Vacation: After many months of continuous working, a vacation was the only thing Jason longed for.
