RE: Vocab-ability Suffix–331 (__ative, __tive = having a relation, nature or tendency) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

Good work!

Re the word "authoritative," you may have a point, but my definitions can also reflect a beneficent power. In other words, a "powerful, commanding, and knowledgeable" leader is not necessarily "authoritarian."

For instance. Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew was authoritative, but many people refer to him as a "benevolent dictator." With emphasis on "benevolent." Maybe he was a little bit authoritarian, but most people would not define him as such. He was "powerful, commanding, and knowledgeable."
