RE: Vocab-ability Numbers–373 (mill = 1000, thousand) – A More Powerful Vocabulary ... FINAL POST in this series
MY VOCAB PRACTICE
- A millimetre or two is not considered "leaving enough space" from other cars when parking.
- AlphaGo Zero became the world's greatest Go player in 40 days, all self taught, which makes one shudder to think what an AI could learn in a millennium.
- A new flavour of marshmallow called, " The Millennial" was released to commemorate the producer's 1000th year making marshmallows.
- If a millipede is in an accident and looses a leg, is it still a millipede?
- Our dam holds 90 million litres of water.

Good work! And thanks for participating in the Vocab Practices exercises. Hope to see you in Round 2.
p.s. In India, 1 millimeter is considered plenty of space for any vehicle to maneuver past, during traffic jams and often when moving at about 20 kph. Of course, that tiny distance often disappears, with predictable results.
