VMware Secure State helps companies secure their multi-cloud infrastructure, always

in #vmware5 years ago

It has always been a sensitive operation to keep track of the state of your infrastructure, the emergence of the cloud has made the situation more complicated and new criticalities have been generated. Security executives live in a nightmare in a globe where multi-cloud, hybrid cloud solutions and development models such as DevOps are now common, where every minimum shift can lead to safety faults. This is true if you don't have ideal visibility on your infrastructure, and that's where VMware Secure State comes into play, a solution developed by VMware's CloudHealth to evaluate the infrastructure's safety status as a whole in real time to understand the safety hazards and their comparative causes in each instant.

VMware Secure State: the state of infrastructure security at all times As the name suggests, VMware Secure State promises to preserve the state of the infrastructure at a secure level, i.e. in a state where safety dangers arising from poor settings or applications vulnerabilities are minimal. But how is he doing that?

VMware Secure State is an infrastructure assessment instrument that continually audits, constantly updates the photograph of the infrastructure so that you can see what modifications can lead to safety hazards in almost real time. It does so visually: the tool makes it possible to make available graphic elements that make it easy to understand the state of the system and what are the causes of the risks, so that all the actors involved (developers, system engineers, security managers) can intervene to eliminate them in their respective areas.

Unlike ordinary safety audits in which the systems are evaluated in a static picture of them (i.e. evaluated at a particular moment), VMware Secure State enables businesses to constantly update the state of their facilities by offering them with a tool to quickly and directly confirm improvements in product growth.

VMware Secure State can do all of this thanks to the use of a model called Interconnected Cloud Security that uses cloud-based APIs, information flows on changing occurrences (such as modifications made to apps, for instance) and information on threats. This allows businesses to know both the threats to be resolved and the clear visibility of their infrastructure's safety status.
