[Vlog] Crypto & Cardio #11 - Bitcoin ‘tanks’ to $6k… call me crazy but I’m buying back in
A bit crazy...
I realised a few years back you need to be a bit crazy to invest in cryptocurrency. Most people just don’t get this ‘ internet money’ thing. Most that get involved get cold feet as soon as the market takes a turn for the worst
Today I talk about where I am at with cryptocurrency at the moment.
Accumulation mode
For some reason, whenever sentiment is bearish all I see is an opportunity to start accumulating coins. So that’s what I’ve been doing over the weekend. Under $6k seems a good spot for be to start buying back in with profits I took near the highs. If Bitcoin goes lower, $3k, $1k whatever… I buy more. Only if the fundamentals change for the worse will I consider calling it quits.
No brainer
I also talk about buying SBD, for under a dollar. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Good to heard from you and see your jolly smile! It is nice to see your confidence even with all the blood on the streets.
The past year I was selling crypto for cash. The past two months is the first time I haven't converted out because there is NO WAY I want to sell at this low.
I am working on hustling side gigs so that I don't have to relay on spending my crypto and for the option to buy at this low!!
Looking forward to more of your crypto talks!!
Stay well! 😊👍
I agree.. this is now good time to enter the market.
Sounds like a good plan in terms of the cost averaging methodology however personally I would avoid accumulating alt-coins and stick to BTC.
I’m thinking and doing exactly the same. I’ve been buying for the last three weeks. I still have some cash on side waiting for another bigger dip. If we go lower, I’m thankful for opportunity to buy at these great prices. If we won’t, I’m happy with what I have. Like you mentioned “it’s no brainer”. There have been bear markets, there have been bull markets. Crypto is not going away, it’s here to stay. It’s just a people’s subconscious driving them away not to buy at these levels. My mind is scared at some point while buying in this downturn. Sometimes I’m thinking “what if that’s the end?”. But still here I’m buying. I would hate myself not to buy now. I would rather loose everything instead of not trying.
How do you like my T-shirt

yes i think you are right .this is a right moment for starting to buy back again and to enter the market again. i have a long term vision. so in short term whatever may happen does not matter. every fortune maker have made his fortune by long term hodling.
Hello @nanzo-scoop, I can't agree more! Many people worry when the crypto market is down but i see it as a buying opportunity. :)
Well said
Buy the dip
Bearish bear bears bitcoin
I call you logical rather than crazy.
When it comes to trading, I have this piece of wisdom to share:
When I buy in, it's generally a signal that the market is about to crash.
When I sell, it's generally a signal that the market is about to explode.
OK, I'm being a bit flippant, but in the past I have made some very astute crypto buys. However I didn't HODL for long enough, and just after I sold, the price went to the moon! :(
I bought some Steem Dollars a few weeks ago, when the price had fallen to about $2.30. I thought that would be the bottom of the market. I was wrong. At least I didn't spend any more than I could afford to lose at the time, which is always a sensible strategy... so now I'm continuing to HODL.
I agree that this should be a great time to buy Steem, but a couple of people have said that Ned is powering down, which if true is very concerning. On the other hand, who knows? He could be powering down under the @ned name and buying up under another.
I've traded crypto very sporadically since about 2013, and I've noticed a few big dips like this current one. It happens with the stock market too. At times like this, all the inexperienced traders and the ones who bought at the top of the market panic like mad and sell up. Once they've all been shaken out, the market starts to rise, and rise, and rise...
