A new place

Having a few days away as the snow stoms apparently sweep across the country.

We only went a few hours from London to a far corner of Devon, but the snow hasn't found us...yet...

We chose a spot on the coast (well estuary.actually) thst we had never been to and here we are.

Changing your environment is rewarding. It seems ,to me, to satisfy a hunter-gatherer instinct. Once arrived all senses are alert to the new environment. Where's the best (appropriate) food. Where's safe or dangerous? What's around that corner, down that alley? Get landmarks. Work out orientation.
