RE: @dontstopmenow opens up to the Steem Community
Bruno, the fact that you can open up about your flaws already means you're awesome.
I'm around 1.56 m and I'm the shortest in almost every social circle. I've felt so much condescendence towards me throughout my life from school up until now at work, even though it's now rather due to my young age.
However, my height was the only thing of all my deemed 'flaws' (oh, a lot of those silly things I hope are starting to fade) that I never let get to me. I focused on studies and self-growth and I started to look into people more and search the beauty within them.
Well of course nobody now picks on me about my height, but I understand how men might feel, because my brother was the shortest in class, too.
But nevermind anyone who tells you something about you, because they know nothing!
Only those who are worth your time will see the good in you!
Hey Kate!. Thanks so much for your comment, I appreciate the kind words and also also seeing you opening up and telling me personal things. Seems like we have gone through similar stuff while growing up.
I know that those picking on peoples flaws/insecurities deserve no attention at all, but sometimes it´s not that easy to ignore them.
Again, thanks for your insightful comment.
Have a great day!
