I've been looking and researching these new masternode coins as well. I cross reference estimates with masternodes.pro and mnrank.com.
The idea I had is to just simply buy one masternode in each of the top 3 ROI coins: Vivo, Bitcloud, Masternodecoin. Looks like for 17K your annual income is 45K. Then use your rewards to buy the next up and coming nodes on the list. This would allow you to spread out the risk of just one coin failing.
Obviously this assumes stable price and stable amount of masternodes which will not be the case.
