As an existing crown holder, I'm quite excited about the possibilities Viva will bring to aspiring entrepreneurs! There are lots of people in the world with good ideas, but not the financial means or fundraising ability to ever make something of those ideas. I wonder how many brilliant opportunities are lost every year, just quietly fading into oblivion as a result? If you're a forward-looking innovator aiming to get a budding project off the ground, then becoming a Viva crown holder (as opposed to buying & selling VIVA on the open market which is what a speculator / trader would do) may be for you.

To hand out a discount code, these are the qualities I will be looking for:

• Long-term thinking: are you a patient person who operates on long time scales, realizing that success does not come about overnight?
• Achievability: does your business idea have a reasonable chance of success? Some pie-in-the-sky goal like "I want to start the first asteroid mining business" will not get my support.
• Detail oriented: how will you realize your idea? Will you need to hire a team? Do you have a business plan? Can you break your goal down into a series of concrete milestones? The more thought you've put into it, the better.
• Technical savvy: while not an absolute requirement, I would prefer people who are already knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies and thus understand what it's like to work with cutting edge software technologies that may not be perfectly polished right out of the gate.
