US visa restrictions on Myanmar

The United States has imposed visa restrictions on Myanmar and Laos, which are unwilling to return to illegal immigrants. The country's homeland security department has repeatedly urged the two countries to return the illegal immigrants to their country, but the steps have been taken to delay the implementation of this, according to the Homeland Security Department. It is said that the United States was asked to withdraw its citizens from the United States, but it did not delay the implementation of Myanmar and Laos. As a result, visa restrictions were imposed on both countries.

The Trump Administration has ordered strict enforcement of visa applications in specific categories in Myanmar and Laos. The United States embassy has stopped issuing all non-immigrant visas in B1 (action) and B-2 (travel) categories in Yangon. The list of sanctions includes Myanmar's Labor, Immigration and Population (MOLIP) and the Directorate General of Home Affairs and its high level officials and their family members. It has been said that the sanctions could be extended further.

At the same time, the country imposed a ban on Laos for A-3 and G5 (diplomatic and international organization activists) B-1 and B-2 and B-1, B-2 (non-immigrant) category visas.
