Are VR's Killer Apps Hidden In Plain Site?
Interesting article about what constitutes that elusive "Killer App" everyone is always searching for. I like the notion of a Virtual Reality rig as an appliance in the home, like a microwave or an upright piano - something that is discretionary but always useful when needed and called upon; it serves a purposes, rather than merely entertain, like a movie or video games.
The timing of usage in VR is different than traditional media, and so should this consideration in its development and design.
