RE: [Virtual Reality] VR-Setup im Raum ~ Sensoren ~ Oculus Rift
I recommend you set the cameras up in opposing corners. I've read very promising things about that configuration. As an aside, I left you some full power upvotes I hope will help you get started. Stick at it, only the stubborn win on Steemit.
Thank you for the recommendation, the kind words and the upvotes! :) you gave me some motivation-boost and smiles :) I will definitly go on!
Regarding your recommendation: I also think that using opposing corners would be nice, but unfortunately, my room doesn't seem to let me do that.. maybe if I buy some additional mounts for the wall, so I can put the sensors in high places - otherwise, the door would smash them when someone opens it carelessly.
If the untracked spots continue to disturb me, maybe I will do that.. ^-^
I wonder if perhaps I could interest you in a free copy of Narcosis? It's a deep sea survival horror game which I wrote the dialogue for. I still have many product keys left over from when we were giving them out to reviewers. Your choice of the Oculus Home or Steam version. If you do want it, I will need to know where I should send it (email? steemit chat? privnote?)
aww thank you :) I looked up Narcosis on the steem-page, looks very promising. The poeple highlight the good story, so I guess you did a good job :)
I will shit in my underpants playing this, but that will be great!
Thanks for letting me try for free! I just registered to steemitchat, you can reach me under my username "underpants" :)
Forget to mention that I would like the steam-version, cause every VR game that I started from steam, asked me if I want to run it via steamVR or oculus.. So there is no disadvantage, and as an advantage I can see my total playtime :D thank you!
