New Zclassic wallet issues

I was really glad to see the release of the new zlassic wallet for mac and downloaded it instantly. However after installing it failed to initialise. Keep getting a 'Wallet deamon cannot run' message and then it shuts down.

Has anyone else had the same issue? Any solutions out ther?
