Hey guys, I joined the vincentb army yesterday and I’m still trying to make it work.

Today I learned two interesting things about Steemit. I noticed that a lot of people trying the vincentb thing are beginners just like me, so maybe it can help you as well.

First tip : How to add a picture in a comment :

We all know it : One picture is worth a thousand words, but how do we add it on a Steemit comment?
If you try, you will understand that there is no « download picture » button available. So what you can do is download a picture on your computer, for example from Google Image, or use your own image.

Then go to this website : https://ctrlq.org/images/

And upload your picture.

The website will generate two links :

Direct link url

And

Image embed code

Just copy paste the first one on the comment section (Direct link url).

Et voilà !

The second tip is how to « resteem » a post. This one is very simple, you just need to click the little bended arrow at the end of the post, BUT in order to see this arrow, the post needs to be less than 7 days old. In other words, you can’t resteem a post older than 7 days.

That’s why, instead of resteeming the original post from florinmanica about inserting pictures in comments, I created a new one, but all credits go to him/her.
