Learn Vietnamese Vowels (Part 1)- A, Ă & Â
Hello there, fellow VLLs! Some of you might have already seen my YouTube videos posted here. I'm using my channel as a way to track my progress and build a community with other Vietnamese learners as well as native speakers. YouTube has been a great resource for me in my learning process and I've found so many awesome channels.
That being said, I never really found a video I liked for teaching the vowel sounds. I had the idea to make a video that combines each of the 11 vowel sounds with the six tones and some basic vocabulary. With the help of local friends and some members from a "Learn Vietnamese" group online, I searched for one word in each tone that uses each of the Vietnamese vowels (no diphthongs, just to keep it simpler). I did my very best to use the most simple and useful vocabulary possible although some combinations of vowel/tone were more challenging than others so the words I chose reflect that.
I already have the words selected for the rest of the series but would LOVE some feedback on part one before I make the rest of the videos. The lighting wasn't great and I know there is a bit of background noise so the quality isn't as great as some of my other videos but I hope the content is helpful and would really appreciate any tips on how to make the next ones even better. Feel free to comment here or directly on YouTube. Cảm ơn!
